OMOLE Joseph Gbenga is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiological Sciences, faculty of Basic medical Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He joined the services of the University on April 6, 2016. He is a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN). He also holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree (BNSc), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), MSc in Physiology and Ph.D. in Physiology all from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. With almost 10 years of teaching experience, he specializes in Human Physiology, focusing on cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

Omole has published numerous research papers in reputable journals and has been supervising postgraduate students. He is a member of several professional bodies such as Physiological Society of Nigeria, National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, Graduate Nurses Association, Nigeria Medical Association, Association of Specialist Medical Doctors in Academics, Society for Medical Physiology of Nigeria and European Academy of Neurology, contributing to academic scholarship, research advancement, and professional development within the health sciences.
